When you buy Mt Barker Free Range Chicken you know you’re buying premium quality, naturally grown chicken. All our chickens are raised in country WA and fed a special diet that includes the best natural grains. They are left to forage and roam freely during the day then sheltered at night.
No chemical fertilisers are used on the foraging fields and our chickens remain free of artificial hormones and antibiotic growth promotants.
These optimal growing conditions are what give Mt Barker Chickens their superior taste and texture.
